Toronto and Quebec have been hit hardest as well.

The US, Canada and Mexico have been targeted with an additional 14 countries.

The US and Canada were also hit by a ban on entry for citizens of Iran and North Korea.

Mexico, however, was spared the full ban, with a travel advisory still in effect.

On Friday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the travel restrictions were not meant to be a “blanket ban” on foreign travel.

“The fact that we’re taking the time to put some of these things in place, to do some of the checks and balances that you need, I think is a good start,” he told CBC News.

“But we don’t want to get into this kind of blanket, blanket ban.

That’s not how this works.

This is about getting to the bottom of this threat that we’ve identified.”
